X2Phone is an important innovation in Voice-over-IP. It is a next-generation telephony application which offers the functionality of a traditional telephone system from the convenience of any computer. It doesn't require users to download and install an application, and can be accessed anywhere over the internet from ANY Web Browser and ANY Operating System. The X2Phone is specifically designed for implementation in IP PBX, IP Centrex, Virtual Office, Broadband VoIP, Calling Cards, and other VoIP applications. X2Phone supports the popular SIP communication protocols and offers a number of features, aimed at improving the end-user experience, such as automated provisioning, centralized address book management and customizable skins.

SIP WebPhone Versions with NAT Traversal Support: X2Phone is offered in SIP versions, which supports the set of telephony features. To ensure flawless operation behind Network Access Translation (NAT) devices, such as routers, the X2Phone utilizes advanced NAT traversal technology.

Browser and OS Independent Phone: X2Phone offers browser and operating system independent soft-phone solution. It can be accessed anywhere over the internet from ANY Web Browser and ANY Operating System. It provides a platform independent solution that can be deployed on a variety of architectural and hardware configurations.

NO Installation Require: X2Phone doesn't require users to download and install soft-phone in to the computer/laptop.

Calls –Over-Blocked Voice-Port: X2Phone offers a special technique called Dynamic Port Setting (DPS) which is used to overcome the voice port blocking by the ISPs and corporate firewalls. By having DPS embedded inside Soft-Phone Session Controller (SSC), X2Phone provides intelligent routing and hence excellent voice quality.

Adaptive Jitter Buffer, Silence Detector and Packet Lost Concealment: X2Phone offers an effective jitter buffer implementation, which can also be adapted to operate in fixed jitter mode. The jitter buffer provides sufficient status to trigger Packet Lost Concealment (PLC) invocation. It can utilize both VAD feature that provided by codec (such as Speex's encoder VAD) or X2Phone's own adaptive silence detection implementation for codecs that don't have silence detection (such as G.711, GSM, or iLBC).

High Secure Web-based Application: Since X2Phone offers an Java Applet based soft-phone, the user does not need to trust the code, so it can work without security approval and inherently safe.

Customizable Skins and Phone Profiles: X2Phone supports web based customizable skin templates. Such functionality allows providers to update the underlying image files and create customized soft-phones. Additionally, each provider can create multiple phone profiles with different design, language, and functionality and use them to target different customer groups.

Centralized Address Book Management with Direct Import: X2Phone offers centralized management of address books which allows users to conveniently retrieve their contacts at any Internet-enabled location. When X2Phone application starts, it retrieves all contacts from a centralized address book. Once retrieved, such contacts can be used for outbound calling, caller ID and other services. Users can import directly their address books from MS Outlook Express, Outlook, and other email clients.

Call History Support: X2Phone offers call history feature for all outgoing calls. All records in the history log are matched against the existing contact database and callers are identified by their names.

Centralized Softphone Setup, Provisioning, and Management: X2Phone offers centralized setup, provisioning and management feature which enables service providers to easily manage their business. Softphone features/settings that can be managed centrally include, skin design, language, soft buttons, codecs, automated caller ID distribution, prefixes, extensions, and inactivity registration timeout.

Direct Access to User Account Balance and Call History: X2Phone offers convenient, direct access to account balance and call history information. Softphone users can check their account balances and view their call histories via the Softphone interface.

Easy and Powerful Third-Party System Integration: Plug-n-play integration modules allow users to integrate their CRM system into a single, easy-to-use “one-touch” system.

Logo Branding: X2Phone offers users the ability to brand services under different company names, colors and logos and provides a transparent interface to provisioning screens.
